The Playhouse is an intimate theatre in the heart of Whitstable, converted from the old congregational church in the 1980s. Seating for 186 is split between the Stalls and Balcony.The Theatre Bar is open before and after all performances, as well as during the interval. An air cooling system is installed in the auditorium and bar areas. Access for the disabled is available via a wheelchair lift, however patrons need to be able to climb 4 steps into the auditorium.
