Nice small, friendly pub in Centre of Bristol. Bar at one end serving real ales and stage at other - crowd in middle! Holds maybe 100+? steps to higher level for 30 seats? Saw Roxy Magic (See review) here at end 2006, fantastic band, brilliant view. We much prefer these intimate venues to stadiums where you can't even see the act, let alone faces and the playing styles. We spend weekends going to such places as Flowerpot at Derby, Limelight at Crewe and Robin2 at Bilston all similar pub venues with regular live acts and professional management. Until serious injuries forced me to stop for a year. Will be fit again to hit these venues before Xmas 08!
