Into the bar go through the doors on your right and up the stairs. Its a warm and friendly place. (A bit tatty)
A great variety of Jazz. Very laid back, meaning do not expect music to start or finish on time, Usually starts around 9.00pm. Mainly young bands, check out the listings.
If you go on a match night be prepared to fight your way through the crowd in the bar (they don't bite).
The list of players is endless, from Robert Mitchel thro to Capital City Jazz Orchestra. Huw Warren to Jonny Bruce sextet. Eclectic is the word.
There's no stage so you get up close to the musicians.
Cool mix of ages in the audience.
I have had some great nights there. Great music and cheap entrance fee.
Late bar downstairs so you can chill out after the gig too.
