Reading Festival is situated near the town centre which makes it ideal to stock up on supplys or take a break from the hustle and bustle of the festival atmosphere. The town is full of pubs and restaurants so you can get a decent meal or watch your footy team play, if your the type of person who does'nt like to miss a match. We found that the earlier you leave the festival the less likely you are to be caught up in the traffic, which can take hours to get out of. I've been to both and id definetly recommend Reading festival over Leeds.
