Voted as one of the top gig venues in the united kingdom and rightly so, there is so much more atmosphere and character in this building than you would get somewhere like the SECC

Have been to the barrowlands to see Amy winehouse, Elvis Costello, and many moons ago, Big Country.  Has a cracking atmoshere, more intimate than the SECC, has a real old fashioned "GIG" feeling about it. Used to be a dancehall and has wooden floors, so good for a bounce about!!! Real Glasgow landmark.

Having been to countless gigs over the years I have to say that the Barrowlands is by far the best gig venue ever!  Its a bit rough round the edges but that just adds to the charm of it.  Always guaranteed a brilliant atmosphere.  Everyone should experience a night out here!
