I've been to see so many amazing bands in the CIA, Korn, The Prodigy, Rammstein, and UB40 to name a few and I'm going to see Slipknot tomorrow. :-D
The venue itself is brilliant. There's loads of room to have a dance and a little bit of a headbang/mosh. The overall sound is also fab. The only thing I would like to see is more toilets!!!! There is always a massive queue when you really really need a wee!!!

Went to see Riverdance on 30th March and although concert was great the seating comfort is atrocious. If you are anything over 5ft4ins and 7stone be prepared for an uncomfortable session .
There was also a major distraction of the "emergency" exit lights either side of the stage which for the dark gloomy scenes were extremely off putting. There must be some way of overcoming this without compromising the safety elements.
Never again at the CIA for me I am afraid!!.

I was one of the many people at Simply Red concert last night Thursday 26th March.  The concert was outstanding, the sound, lighting and overall presentation of concert was absolutely fantastic.  I have loved his music since his inception and this was the first time I have seen him live.  It was worth every penny.

The drinks are expensive , the queues for the bar & toilets are long.Drink at local bars first.
A good versatile venue with helpful staff.
When listening to a band/concert, get in the middle to front. If you are on the side/back you will experience an echo effect.
If you prefer a more intimate venue, then St Davids Hall is for you.
