When you book you can do it on line , over the phone or you can go into the regent. if you book over the phone you get your tickets very quickly via post. If you go in there is hardly any ques and the staff are really friendly they will help you with times and which seat you would like, thay are happy to explain anything your not sure on. There is parking at the back or at the back of woolworths and takes 2 minits to get there, when you arive there is a bar for drinks so if you want drinks it best you get there early no less then 30 min before.  But Its best to get there about 15 mins before it starts if you are not wanting a drink because by then most of the people will allready be in there seats and you can just walk straight in, thare is anouncments when the show is about to start but you will have your seat number so no worries if your a bit late, the seats are all numbered clearly at the bottom and its easy to find them, you then find your seet they are all nicely spaced apart and have lots of leg room of couse you will have to sit on you coat though which i just put mine behind me on my chair. You can always see the stage clearly and this is the only place I like going due to that reason as it does not matter where you sit, also it has just been referbished so all the seats are lovely. At half time in the break you can go out to the bars for drinks or gab an ice cream e.c.t. if you place an order at the bar at the begining of the nite for the intervall (break) then its much quicker because the queus at the bar can be a lttle on the manic side, but if you  book the dirnks in advance thay will have your order reddy for you. After the show there are lots of things around you as its right opersit the town, there are kabbab shops pubs, chineese resterant e.t.c.. have a good time and dont forget your tickits before you leave the house .... suzy ips

I have been frequently to the Regent Theatre and am so disappointed that in the refurbishment they did not put in some more ladies toilets upstairs in the Circle area near the bar.  If it is a popular concert you are attending you need to get there in plenty of time if you want to visit the loo, ladies.   Again at popular events the place will be heaving on the ground floor as you arrive and you just have to meld in to the crowd sweeping upstairs.   Elderly people on ticket duty slow things up dramatically but they are friendly and will show you to your seat if you wish.   The bar too will be heaving with people and if you arrive 30 mins early you will probably not get a seat in the Bar.
At Riverdance our seats were half way back in the centre circle but had a tall man 2 rows in front and the lady in front of me could not see for him, so she kept jiggling about to see so I had to do likewise.  I had a very sore neck by the interval but swapped with my partner for the second half as did the tall gentleman who swapped with his wife, so my husband could not see for the second half.   Don't remember having this problem before refurbishment.
Attending the John Barrowman gig recently, there was no instruction beforehand not to use cameras so young people were virtually videoing the majority of the gig which was most disconcerting for those sitting nearby.   The staff were showing late comers to their seats and did not tell the photographing lot to stop.   I know John hates photography when he is performing so was surprised it was not mentioned at the interval.
I don't know if the theatre is supposed to be air conned but it gets very hot at packed out concerts, so don't wear thick clothes...
I think I will try tthe front stalls for seats next time.
