I visited the Anvil on the 12th November to see A Night at The Opera starring Jonathan Ansell.  I found the directions to the venue very good and parking nearby was a bonus. The theatre felt very cosy and I enjoyed the whole experince so much so that I hope to book some tickets to come back in January.

I have just booked two tickets to see th Quo in November and I can not believe that there is no standing on both nights , how crazy is that ? it is impossible to sit still at a Quo gig , Oh well I hope the atmosphere is as good sitting down as it is when normally you stand up & dance , it might put the Quo off and I doubt they will come back to the Anvil ever again .

great acoustics, friendly staff and comfy seats. i think the anvil has a great variety of shows too - and there are lots of restaurants and bars next door if you want to go somewhere beforehand
