Frank Turner + The Sleeping Souls
Following a year that saw a headline sold out Wembley Arena and a performance at the London Olympics Opening Ceremony, Winchester-born folk/punk hero Frank Turner starts 2013 with a new album plus a short run of UK headline shows.
On 22nd April 2013 Frank will release 'Tape Deck Heart', his highly anticipated fifth studio album through Xtra Mile Recordings. Recorded with The Sleeping Souls and producer extraordinaire Rich Costey (Muse, Weezer, Rage Against the Machine, Interpol) 'Tape Deck Heart' is the follow-up to 2011's 'England Keep My Bones', which has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide.

Former singer for hardcore outfit Million Dead turned folk troubador, Frank Turner has seen his fame flourish through, essentially, the old fashioned route - hard work, continuous gigging and word of mouth. His singer-songwriter solo career steadily grew from cult status to an arena filler, eventually playing London's O2 and Wembley Stadium. His 5th album 'Tape Deck Heart' also reached no.2 in the official UK album charts. Frank is also a Mastermind, coming first place on a celebrity edition of the BBC show in 2014. His blend of folk-punk-rock and powerful lyrics has seen him continue playing to an already devoted fanbase, but he picks up new fans with every festival appearance and tour.
