Never miss another 'Gypsy Fire' show
"Gypsy Fire's explosive energy and talent has created a dynamic quartet that is unrivalled. Their show is an acoustic white knuckle ride encompassing many different musical genres. Individually they are acclaimed soloists, together they are simply breathtaking.
'Have you seen or heard the band Gypsy Fire? If not, do yourself a favour... their repertoire encompasses a broad field, they are knock out musicians who play with passion, joy and humour. Brilliant.'
Info provided by the Event Organiser
Combining breathtaking musical virtuosity and sheer dynamics to create one of the most exciting performances you will hear. Gypsy Fire's magic breathes new life into delicious dark and impish melodies from the worlds of classical, jazz, latin, rock, blues and beyond. Each piece is performed with passion and flair, drawing audiences in - caressing, teasing and surprising with twists and turns of harmony and rhythm before great beauty gives way to powerful crescendo.
The quartet is comprised of violinist Ben Holder, acoustic guitarists Stuart Carter-Smith and Ben Travers, and double bass player Paul Jefferies. All four are virtuoso performers and the band has headlined several major UK jazz festivals. They are truly a breathtaking spectacle of high octane, high tempo musicianship with real gypsy fire.
