Invada Records Presents Apocatastasis: BEAK> + Savages + Drokk + The Fauns + Fairhorns + Scarlet Rascal & The Train Wreck + Anika (DJ) + Redg Weeks + Fat Paul
BEAK> were formed in January 2009 by three Bristol musicians, Billy Fuller, Matt Williams and Geoff Barrow. Sometimes a band can be no more than the sum of it's parts, but BEAK> are an equation in which it's impossible to define equivalents or totals. Instead the meeting of three talents form a foundation from which ideas assimilate and propagate.
BEAK> tour dates
Savages are a London based four-piece, combining a mixture of guitars with a groovy nu wave / punk rhythmic session. They have subsequently been compared to the great post punk bands of the 1980s, Joy Division and Magazine to name but a few.
Gemma Thompson's ability to wrap her guitar solo around the hypnotic bass of Ayse Hassan and intertwine with the rest of the band before splitting off, all within the space of a few seconds, this pulled together with the awesome energy of Jehnny Beth who has been likened to Joe Strummer.
Savages tour dates
Bristol-based six-piece drawing influences from the early 90's shoegazing scene. Epic big guitar noise with lush melodic strings and synths and Alison Garner's breathy vocals.
The Fauns tour dates
Electrifying quintet playing their brand of whisky tainted garage flavoured blues. Championed by Fat Paul's and Geoff Barrow's label supreme 'Invada' who released 'The Haunting' at the end of 2012, they were described by Crack Magazine as "Barrow-endorsed garage punk/dirty blues hybridisers."
Scarlet Rascal tour dates
