Info provided by the Event Organiser
Patrick Duff, once singer in the alternative rock band Strangelove, is now a solo artist in his own right. Having travelled the world recording and playing at festivals he has collaborated with musicians on five continents. He released his first solo album 'Luxury Problems', produced by Adrian Utley of Portishead and Alex Lee of Goldfrapp in 2005.
In 2009 his 2nd album "The Mad Straight Road", a collection of 12 songs that took in Disney soundtracks, The Kinks, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash, saw Duff establish himself as a solo artist. His 3rd solo album, "Visions of the Underworld", recorded live in a cottage in Dartmoor and released in 2013, saw him go back to the basics of his voice and his guitar.
Patrick's voice and songs are rich and dark with a hint of pop sensibility. Think Leonard Cohen, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Nick Cave and Johnny Cash.
