The small venue seemed surprisingly roomy for a sell out gig, perhaps proving a challenge for the first support act Tonight Is Goodbye. After a few anxious songs the crowd loosened up a little giving the boys from down south something to work with. Perhaps not their best performance ever but I still think they impressed a fair few people that night. And all hand it to them, they got a lot out of what begun as a motionless room. A sterling job.
I won't pass too much comment on the pre-headline act Sherwood. At one point I vaguely remember the vocalist saying something to the effect of "come on your all asleep. lets get going" - a fair statement but alas the going never happened. Maybe it was a tough crowd, there were obviously some excited fans there to see them but this feeling was not in the majority.
It seemed the effort TIG had put in to warm up the crowd had been undone and people were getting impatient for Go:Audio
After what seemed like a very long set up they finally came on and the energy soared !! Plenty of fun and jumping around was had by all - the myspace tracks and well known hits were recieved wholeheartedly. After a somewhat unneccesary stage exit, they finished with 'made up stories' a resounding favourite that truly left it on a high.
It was a great show, but my one bugbite would be that the supports should have been Sherwood first (or alternative !?) and then Tonight Is Goodbye right before Go:Audio.

it was my first time going to see them last night (7th april) and they blew me away they opened with brake brake one of my favourite songs and closed with made up stories. they were so energetic and got the crowd screaming. simply amazing
