'Amiina (formerly Amína) is an Icelandic quartet comprising Hildur Ársælsdóttir, Edda Rún Ólafsdóttir, Maria Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir and Sólrún Sumarliðadóttir. They frequently perform live and in the studio along with Sigur Rós. The band is known for their unique use of various instruments during their live shows, including playing office bells and the saw. Their work with Sigur Rós is primarily as a string quartet.
