I saw this band through being invited to attend via a mailing list that I didn't realise I was a member of.  I was aware of the throat singing techniques and had a sample or two on KLF albums.  Even so, I was not prepared for the spine tingling experience of a Huun Huur Tu concert.

The band/group managed to convey the spirituality of Tuvu and the reverence of the horse was evident in the underlying beats of some of the songs.  My friends mocked me for attending the gig until they listened to the disco mix CD that i bought at the gig - they were instant converts.  Don't miss out on an unforgettable experience if they ever come your way.  I can't wait for their return.....
