I was introduced to Frank Turner by my teenage son and I was very keen to see him live.
It was a great show, with three supports - who were, in the main, good.
Frank played non-stop - and I mean non-stop for over an hour, and encouraged us all to sing along. He treated us all as if we were his friends and played all his best tunes.
The audience were predominantly young - around 20 ish, but there were a good number of older people as well.
It was a thrilling evening and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Frank Turner to anyone. You will leave with a big smile and a song in your head, and you will sing his songs all the way home!
Fantastic, saw him in Exeter and would definitely go and see him again. In fact, I am doing, he's supporting The Levellers on their tour :D

We arrived a little late and only caught one number from Beans on Toast, which was a shame as he was very funny and irreverent and had a great rapport going with the audience.
Fake Problems I could take or leave, but the (mostly) young audience seemed to like them.
Frank Turner and his band-mates were absolutely brilliant; they gave us a marathon of terrific songs, from the sweetly mournful to high-energy punk-folk rabble-rousers. All with intelligent and insightful lyrics, too.
Turner himself is an engaging character, keen to interact with his audience who in turn love his banter. There were no low-points to this performance and by the sweat-drenched encore, even we middle-aged minority were getting in on the moshing. Frank eventually threw himself in and was obviously having a great time last night.
I strongly advise you to catch Frank Turner if you can. You'll thank me.
