I was a big fan of The Pigeon Detectives long before they became big. I also wanted to make sure that I went to see them before they became amssive.

Supported by Pete and the Pirates, The Pigeons really blew all of us away! Matt Bowman (lead vocals) has a very unique and energetic way of performing which really makes the crowd feel involved.

They performed both old and new songs from their album "This is an Emergency". It was amazing to hear their new material.

The atmosphere as they closed the show was incredible and ment that it was a gig to remember!!

This was a late addition to the tour and a big thanks to the band for choosing Derby (they said they had a choice). This was the official opening night for the Rock House and it was sold out. It was the 3rd time I've seen the band and I think that they are one of the best live performers on the circuit. The energy and crowd response was fantastic. I also like the no bulls**t approach, the last song is the last song, no ego coming back for encores.
