Bullet for My Valentine at the royal albert. This gig was special for 2 reasons. One of those reasons was that this gig was part of the Teenage Cancer Trust fund. The other reason was the Line-Up.
Bullet For My Valentine
Fightstar
In Case of Fire
Three absolutely Mind blowing live acts. In Case of Fire were put on the bill at the last minute when The Blackout pulled out due to injury.
So lets get started with this review.
Two guys from Kerrang! Radio enter the stage. Introducing tonights acts. Then once they leave the stage. The three members of In Case of Fire hit the stage with a very raunchy intro. Smashing into what I think was their new single "Enemies". Then playing the song that everyone knows "This Time We Stand". Then to be honest i can't remember the rest of the set, until the end song "The Cleansing".
The two guys from Kerrang! enter the stage yet again. Announcing the second support band for tonights headliners Bullet For My Valentine.
Soon enough with a very haunting intro which I believe was played on the 2007 October tour. Fightstar hit the stage with a massive de-tuned open chord and crashing symbols. Before rushing into first ever single "Palahniuk's Laughter". As soon as this song hit the chorus the whole, and when I say whole, I mean every single person in there was singing "Stop putting me down...". Grand Unification Pt.1 was next which also got the whole arena singing. guitarless Charlie Simpson then grabs the mic ready for Tannhauser Gate. With Omar clicking his sticks before leading into the pounding intro. Alex and Charlie have a brilliant vocal combination. Fightstar stage presence is undoubtedly one of the best of the night tonight. With Fightstar starting to end their set with new singles from astonishing new album Be Human, "Mercury Summer" and "The English Way". Before finishing off their set with "Floods". Actually, Fightstar were meant to finish their set with the brutal track "Deathcar". But sadly enough they had to shorten their set due to time loss. Still an amazing set anyway and it's good to see how many BFMV fans are fans of Fightstar (and In Case of Fire) too.
This is the final time that the two K! Radio guys come on. Also welcoming two cancer survivors. Before introducing who everyone was there for; Bullet For My Valentine.
Bullet finally came onto the stage after a long wait and started the set with upbeat single "Scream Aim Fire". The Bullet set went something like this:
Scream Aim Fire
Take It Out On Me
Tears Don't Fall
Four Words (To Choke Upon)
Hand of Blood
Say Goodnight
Creeping Death
Eye of The Storm
All These Things I Hate
Hearts Burst Into Fire
Waking The Demon
Spit You Out
Forever And Always
There is onlt one word to describe Bullets set and the night: Unbelievable!!!

I dont know if i can some up in words how amazing this band is! That night was the best night of my life so far =D. They got the crowd going wild, with the pits, and the songs. I loved it so much. There music is better live than it is recorded!!
They had amazing support acts too.!
If you havnt seen them already, you should definitely get yourself there!
wow. i saw these guys last night, best show ive ever been to. their energy and enthusiasm is fantastic, their set. absolutely amazing... pyrotechnics, lighting coming from every direction. as for their talent, bullets music sounds better live than it does on cd, the guitars sound immense and the vocals are unbeatable. these guys were awesome crowd pleasers, as were their support acts. i cant fully describe how amazing it was, deffinately worth seeing live if you enjoy their music!! Best live band ever.

These guys made it totally worthwhile standing in the rain for an hour. They were really impressive. They didn’t get off to the best start, the sound was out on 'Waking The Demon' so Matt’s voice couldn’t really be heard, but this didn’t stop them and they carried on. It was an awesome atmosphere, the crowd interaction was great and it was nice for them to play a song off the new album for us. They were one of the major highlights of the weekend.

I have seen B.F.M.V before in Plymouth and they were fantastic but even though I enjoyed the show the boys were let down by poor sound on Matt's mike, the rain was pouring but it didn't dampen my spirits they still rocked and are a great live band.
