Rock supergroup Velvet Revolver is an amalgamation of the talents of former Guns N' Roses bandmates Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, Wasted Youth guitarist Dave Kushner and Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland. Their debut album Contraband shot straight to No 1 in the US Billboard charts selling over quarter of a million copies in the week of release.
