Coventry's The Specials are without doubt the definitive 2Tone band of their generation. In the late '70s and early '80s they pioneered the new British ska sound and racked up 7 top 10 hits whilst exerting an influence on the fledgling genre that is beyond measure. The band reformed to celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2009 and have since travelled all over the world and sold out hundreds of concerts.
