would have enjoyed this event a whole lot better if we did not have to queue for one and a half hours to get served at the bar then a further hour for our next drink, when got to bar it had run out of lager, so missed out on a lot of the concert which i am sure would have been great so feel a bit cheated due to this, perhaps an extra 10 pound onto the ticket price and allow people to bring their own drink in would be a better solution because i would gladly have paid an extra tenner which in turn would have allowed me to see the entire event.

Fantastic night, bands were suberb. Shame about Sixways, we were in a queue for 1 hour 10 mins for a drink, missed part of the show! How sad is that was with the price of the tickets! Never again Sixways!!

All the bands seemed to enjoy a great day. Weather was great, crowd was fantastic. Heaven 17 probably just pipped it for the best on the day closely followed by Human League and Bananarama. But why do Sixways always spoil things? 2 hours in a queue for beer which tasted rank at best. Both lager and bitter. I am a Warrior fan and its always the same great entertainment poor services. When they get it right I may go back!! A Cameron from Welland

The Electric energy was out in waves when eighties synth pop hit Wolverhampton Civic Hall with a wave of nostalgia that did not fail to impress. 3 of shefields biggest known bands put on a performance of a lifetime giving both old and young the way music was and should be.
First up were Heaven 17 who got things into gear with songs such as crushed by the wheels of industry, facist groove thing and Im gonna make you. As well as old faves such as Come live with me and of course Temptation. The crowd loved it and it just goes to show that they can still pull in the crowds.
ABC were up next and to be honest Martin Fry did his best with hits such as Poison Arrow and Look of love. I dont mean no disrespect to ABC at all because they put on one hell of an energy performance but the crowd seemed not to be into it. Martins voice was just as strong as it had ever been but I think the people wanted the league who were on next and heading the bill.
Well what can I say the Huamn league started their set with phil on his own singing seconds a song off their first album dare. From an artistic poiunt of view it seems thatr Phil can deliver a version of the league with just him on his own like it was without the girls before they joined the group. Then things got even better with Love Action that had everybody singing along. They sounded just great and even performed being boiled as an encore!
The crowd after were fantastic and friendly also It just goes to show that eighties music can build a wave of warmth in people. Proof indeed that Shefield is the city of music! Long live Shefield.

A great night of Sheffield Steel with ABC and Human League. Fantastic value. One of the best moments of the night was H17's "Temptation". I was worried that the vocal performances on the record would not be met. They were and exceeded with the girl singers absolutely outstanding (ps Glenn also still delivers). It's too late to hesitate... go see them.
