I managed to catch Snow Patrol three times as they toured the UK with their last album and they appeared at V festival and Live Earth. If you enjoy their music, the live experience with both the sensitive melodic and rocking numbers sound great live. The new album is fantastic so I won't miss the next tour.

Okay, so it was the height of summer and I was on a gap year - full of bbq, beers and beaches so the scene was set for a good time but Snow Patrol still out did themselves on tour in NZ. They are great live, lots of energy but not annoying, did new takes on their songs but didn't drift too far from their CD, and most of all they seemed like they loved being there (unlike the Chillie's who I saw in NZ later that year...). When the bicini topped and vest wearing beach bums put their arms in the air to chant 'hands open' it was the moment of the summer - beer went all over the floor and stuck to owr 'jandals' but a good time was had all round.

The show was very professional and the sound amazing. It was perfect, but a little too perfect. Lacking that volotile edge that every great rock n roll band has, Snow Patrol seemed to unashamedly breeze from one song to the next in a very predictable manner. Although it was a good gig it was all a little too premeditated.

was not a big fan before this gig, just went along with my daughter, but what a pleasant surprise, they sounded just as good as their albums, sound was perfect, attitude also nice, interacted well with audience,Gary appearing in the stand next to us to play and asking a  very surprised guy to hold the mike while he sang! crowd went crazy!nice gesture, few other stars with over inflated egos please take note!  Saw the Killers night before, seemed to be just going thru the motions, was disappointed,as I love them, sound was not too good......cost us £180 to see them, but only £60 to see SnowPatrol.........am now a convert and will definately see Gary & co again !
