Less Than Jake must be getting on a bit as they've been together since 1992; you can't tell from their performances. Tonight was a fun filled, high energy experience. They encourage audience participation without it being forced and cringeworthy. That said, they did drag Shirley (one of the security team) on stage for a whole song and I don't think she will have left as their biggest fan.

Refreshingly, (and probably with tongue firmly in cheek) they admitted that their new album isn't as good as their old stuff. Whether that's true or not, it's good to give the less dedicated fans a treat. Even when they're playing songs you don't know, it doesn't really matter as they're all short. There's barely time to get to the bar and back.

The encore was Gainsville Rock City which worked well as a feel good ending.

Highly recommended.

Saw Less Than Jake In Glasgow, 1st April, 2005. Without a shadow of a doubt, these guys are the best band i've ever seen live. More than just the music, they provided intense energy, atmoshere, and a night of brilliant fun! These guys aren't just a live band, they're an experience! Definite reccommendation to any LTJ fan, musician, or fun-lover! Definite Must See =)

Saw these living legends at Nassfest '08... they blew me away. It was the first time I'd seen them live, and I expected them to be good, but not that good.
