Event Date: November 18, 2005
Event Venue: Folkestone Leas Cliff Hall

I saw Girlschool play at Folkestone Leas Cliff hall supporting Motorhead in 2005. The set was simply incredible. Classic rock track after classic rock track! I was actually awestruck when they appeared onstage! having never seen them live before but always loved the music. They all looked incredible and sounded so raw!!
It was criminal however that you went on so early! They are the perfect accompaniment to Motorhead and the next support band on didn't fit in so well. A similar comment appeared weeks later in Kerrang regarding their London show. At Folkestone, guys around me in Girlschool tshirts actually left after their set! Thats loyalty!!
The set started with 'C'mon lets go' and ended with 'Emergency'. The songs 'Hit & Run' and 'Screaming Blue Murder' sounded incredible.
There is no other girl band that can match their talent and aggression!
