Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis (ex-Numbers) formed Peaking Lights from a melting pot of influence, the sound that results from having to jam quietly so as not disturb your new neighbours. They’ll rest some dainty vocals on a bed of San Franciscan pysch, then switch things up; they throw out some dub, they throw out some techno. They’ve perfected the art of hypnosis and they are masters of artistic kleptomania; they even scrape the crackle from old vinyl and lay it gently over their own creations.
