Female experimental art rock group from Los Angeles. Weaving intricate guitar lines, hypnotic vocals, and driving post-punk rhythms, they at times share similar musical territory to recent lo-fi female bands like Dum Dum Girls and Vivian Girls. Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante mixed their debut EP 'Exquisite Corpse', while their debut album 'The Fool' is released in the UK through the prestigious Rough Trade label.

Superb night. Firstly, Connan Mockasin was bizarre yet fantastic. Surreal music combined with a minimalistic Geisha looking girl and his dad on keyboards. They did however compliment Warpaint wonderfully as they too had dreamy, arty music.
