I've been a follower of the Peatbog Faeries for several years and was attracted to them because they have a bag pipe player in the line up.

The band has evolved over time to incorporate a brass sections and a range of musical genrtes.  Those who find bag pipes dirge-like will be amazed at the sound of the Peatbogs - 'bag pipes with attitude' is the best way of describing them.

A telling indication of their talents - my wife is a sworn enemy of bag pipe music in the traditional sense yet craves a Peatbog gig at least twice a year.  She's gutted that there's not a gig pencilled in for our area and is actively considering travelling further afield to see them.

They really are a must see band.
