I recently had the pleasure of seeing Maria Friedman at the old Whitehall Theatre and had a fabulous evenings entertainment.  She has a clear pure voice and it was plain from the evening that she enjoyed every minute.  

I would recommend to anyone and I look forward to hearing her sing live again.  In the meantime I will enjoy the CD I purchased.
