I would definitely recommend going to see Jonathan Ansell. He has the most amazing voice and such a talent for holding the longest notes!

Even if you are not a classical music/opera fan you can appreciate his fantastic voice. His current show 'A Night at the Opera' has some great comedy in it along with some well known operatic hits like Nessun Dorma, Figaro, O Sole Mio etc. A cast of 6 strong singers, including Jonathan himself, play this story of a young man conscripted to war.

I have followed Jonathan since the beginning of G4. I am by no means a classical fan, loving G4's Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy, Beautiful, Yellow and Cry Me a River most of all, but Jonathan's voice is so addictive. I never thought I could sing along to lyrics in a different language until G4, and now in 'A Night At the Opera'.

You have to see him to really appreciate what I mean.

Also, to meet him is such a pleasure. He is the nicest, genuine, down to earth and generous man. He is so sweet and is happy to sign autographs and have photographs with fans.

At the Symphony Hall Birmingham,What a fantastic show,six very talented singers/actors,and all the classical greats in one show.I am not a Opera buff by any means,but Jonathans voice is so fantastic,and I found that I knew most of the arias,I had never had any interest in classical music until I first heard Jonathan with G4,and now Jonathan as a solo artist.and I thank him for that,I have had so much pleasure listening to Jonathan sing,but even more enjoyable is to watch him live,a charismatic performer,and a truly lovely young man
