Booka Shade are Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, described as veterans of the Frankfurt electronic music scene. After beginnings similar to those of Underworld (namely as an overlooked early nineties synth pop duo), the band has more recently created club music. In 2002, they founded Get Physical Records with DJ T. and M.A.N.D.Y.

Went to see Booka Shade pump out some big tunes at this great venue. They had the crowd jumping and moving through their whole set. It was pure music genius as 2 blokes were busy on their setups. They were energetic, fun, interacted with the crowd and a man… (cont'd) Christie from Clapham South
