Ali left UB40 in January 2008 and formed new exciting reggae band Dep - which has former UB40 member Mickey Virtue on keyboards. I saw them at Trentham Gardens in September 2008 and they were absolutely fantastic - they sang a lot of Ali solo stuff from his albums Big Love and Running Free as well as some classic hits which he sang when he was in UB40 . I really recommend you go and see him when he tours in June - he has a new album out in the Spring

Ali Campbell has gone from strength to strength with his exciting new band called the dep band made up of seasoned musicians - Have seen them twice now and are fantastic - his tour in June will be well worth catching with songs from both Big love , running free and no doubt his new album out soon as well as some old favorites - I for one cant wait !!!!
