These guys kick so much ass. I saw them a few years back - they were supporting an Irish folk band I was into. They ended up blowing the headliners off the stage! They are such engaging performers, and their music is so infectious, that you don't have to be especially into traditional folk music or speak French (the language all their songs are in) to feel compelled to quaff your beer and jump up and dance on a table un-self-consciously! Recommendation for
The Cat Empire

The cat empire are simply one of the best groups ever to see live, if you think their recorded stuff is good wait until you see them live it's even better. Whatever music you are into you can enjoy a night of amazing music that just fills you with energy... [more]

Whatever music you are into you can enjoy a night of amazing music that just fills you with energy of jumping around and dancing all night long. If you are close to to where they are gigging it is well worth seeing i have never had so much fun at in my life. weather you're into rock or dance, jazz or funk or any other genres i would still see them live it is well worth the experience.
