If you have not yet seen Paul Simon live , I urge you to.  I saw him last time he was in Glasgow and his concert was one of the best I have attended.  Paul was so overwhelmed by the welcome he received that he came out at the end just him and his guitar and sang for half an hour and we joined in every word. He is a very gifted and talented man so go see him if you can. [less]

saw them at the queens hall just when they were breaking through,playing the festivals.they are unique,building hypnotic songs,the language didn't matter, as the overall sound and rhythms completely swept you up.they are great entertainers,dancers,percussionists and the guitars are driving the whole shebang along on a thick bass foundation.don't miss them,... We went to the Platform at Morecambe to see Juan, last year, his playing of flamenco is fantasticly brilliant
 I bought one of the lesson books, so easy to follow,
even having seldom played a guitar, I am finding this music to be totally enthralling.

It's well worth hearing Jon Sterckx live.  His music brings together an amazing mix of cool grooves, beautiful melodies and virtuosic percussion playing.  I wish he played in London more often!... [more]
