Recommendation for The Baghdaddies
by Kevin from Burntwood

Saw Baghdaddies at Lichfield Fuse Music Festival a few years back and have never forgotten their intoxicating music which had nearly everyone in the marquee on their feet dancing.
A very lively, enthusiastic mixture of instruments and sound.
Thoroughly recommend them if you want to hear something a little bit different! I... [more]

Looking for something a bit different, ecletic (like a bit of blues, soft jazz, french cafe style, world music? Check out CDs - Hang on Little Tomato probably best or plunge into a concert! 1800 fans here can't be wrong! Be first to introduce them to your friends - ideal for dinner parties - if you have the room for a 12pce band Grand piano, strings, brass, precussion, with female vocals !  Also would like Norah Jones, Madeline Peyroux, Katie Mulia. etc. [less]

Most disappointed as Roots Rock legend Bunny Wailer did not turn up.  What made it worse, those involved in promoting the event did not have even have common courtesy  or any etiquette to inform us that Bunny would not be performing at Q club - I guess in fear of having to give a monetary refund.  Jah Shaka kept us entertain throughout, and Capelton did his bit (fire bun!) But for me I came out specially to hear and take in the inspirational rasta vibes of music legend Bunny Wailer.
Unfortunatley, we were not given any ticket stubs as prove of even being at the Q club - It's seems that this was a money making exercise that exploited and conned decent people out of there night of enjoyment.
I am being mild and humble in my opinions right now and would suggest that Apollo changes it's tactics - how about a free gig then at your expense or should I say 'our expense' [less]
