Agree totally with the aforementioned reviews. I have seen Eric Bibb twice (about to be a third in 2010) and was seriously impressed at both venues. Agree totally with the aforementioned reviews. I have seen Eric Bibb twice (about to be a third in 2010) and was seriously impressed at both venues. Apart from being spiritually uplifting, as already mentioned, this guy is also an amazingly good guitar player and singer. I started listening to his music around 1997 and what a superb and diverse collection it is. This is a musician I will never tire off and if you get the chance to see him live, take it! [less]

I have now seen Anita Baker in the UK twice. I think she has only toured on two occasions in the last few years. Well what can I say, she is just unbelievable, and she is really warm with the audience, it's like you have just stepped into her lounge and she is conducting a private singing session just for you and just to you. What a superstar, her voice is warm and natural and yet so powerful, and there is not enough time for her to sing all of everyone's favourites, she asks the audience to shout out which songs you want her to sing and she was clearly amazed at some of the requests for songs that went back over 20 years, and everyone still remembers the words to those fabulous songs. You feel like you want to get up on that stage and just give her a great big hug. In fact one lady sitting in the row in front of us went on to the stage with some roses for her, this lady was a semi-professional singer and she owed her passion for singing to listening to Anita! The first time we went to see Anita, she agreed to interrupt her performance for this guy in the audience to propose to his fiance, they had been engaged for something like 15 yrs and he waited until Anita could arrange it for him to propose in front of us all, I think his fiance said yes!! A wonderful, wonderful lady and artiste, don't miss seeing her if you get the chance, she doesn't come around very often but then good things are always few and far between! [less]
