Special praise for a funk version of Coolio's 'Gangsta's Paradise'.
The bass player performed like Mark King, lead guitar sounded like Carlos Santana, a manic Ray Manzarek on keyboards and a drummer performing complicated layered beats. Oh, and delightful vocals from a lady who deserves a larger stage that a pub.
A well balanced set and not the usual assault on the eardrums at such a small venue. [less]

ive seen madness in concert 2 times and complete madness are the nearest you will ever get to them, they are brill i enjoyed the night you did at butlins i would have payed just to see them..keep it up lads your the best, keep the songs coming..

Brilliant...uplifting get up and go...remember The Specials,The Beat,Spaghetti Westerns,Madness,Fun Boy Three...A 10 piece band(I think its 10) that is soo tight.
