Recommendation for The Kings Of Swing Orchestra
by Wendi C from Hailsham

I have seen the Kings of Swing five times now and they are amazing. If you are a fan of the Rat Pack or Bobby Darin, the show is a must. Fantastically entertaining and highly recommended for a great night out.

Live Review of The Hot Club Of Cowtown @ Manchester Academy - July 23, 2009

This was a stunning show, very well received by an enthralled audience. The three musicians (violin, guitar, double bass) gave a  display of integrated virtuousity, delivered with energy, passion and humour. There were elements of country, swing, jazz and even classical music in the mix, ranging from standards through novelty numbers to original material. The excellent soloing and vocals, underpinned by driving slap bass and brilliant chord work on guitar, and combined with a winning stage presence, was irresistible. Please come back soon! [less]

Recommendation for Michael Buble
by Helen from Sandyford

He is a fabulous singer but is getting a bit 'sickly sweet' with the chat. He was better in that respect when I saw him on tour earlier in his career.

Recommendation for Nicky Mitchell

Wow! Actually she really can sing like Ella Fitzgerald, and Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone. This lass has a real top voice, and she's funny as well. We saw her at the Komedia in Brighton hosting a sort of variety show May, lets face it, she was the show. It... [more]

Wow! Actually she really can sing like Ella Fitzgerald, and Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone. This lass has a real top voice, and she's funny as well. We saw her at the Komedia in Brighton hosting a sort of variety show May, lets face it, she was the show. It was so refreshing to hear a singer who can really deliver a great tune from top to bottom. I can't believe she's not totally famous.
Well I'm glad cause it means we can still afford to see her. [less]
