I saw this group recently at Annabels cabaret bar in Plymouth and thought they were absolutely fantastic. They're from Bristol and the sound they come out with with between the three of them is unique considering they take up to the minute songs and turn them into something that can only be described as authenticate sounding rockabilly scat tunes that you have to see and hear them for yourselves to be believed is remarkable. I actually bought a couple of their cd albums and would definitely reccomend them to anyone to check out. Can't wait to see them again in the future. Shaun Lewis from Plymouth. [less]

As part of a Jazz weekend held at the Castle Theatre, Wellingborough, Denise and Tony Lawrence performed. We so enjoyed this, Denise's singing beautiful as ever and Tony's piano playing brilliant.   They performed a wide variety of songs and one of my favourite's was "The Rose".    We would love to know if they have brought out any recent tapes (we have most of them) and look forward to seeing them again before too long.

Very hard to understand exactly what they are doing, even when they spoke in English!  We all sat there rather perplexed and could have done with less of them!  They got a few sarcastic cries of "Encore".  It was a little embarrassing.  Perhaps they go down... [more]

I think Marius Frank is a spectacular musician. I've seen him perform many times and I must say, theres noone else quite like him.
I truely recomend you visit him and Cindy play at the Rondo theatre.
