It was my privilege to see Buddy Greco last year at Star City. Although his voice is'nt as strong as it used to be for a man of 80+ he was tremendous and his piano playing a joy to listen to. Together with his wife Lezlie Anders - what a voice - a brilliant night was had by all who were lucky enough to be there.Can't wait to see where he is appearing in the UK this year

On Mar. 5th. 2009 I had the pleasure of watching and listening to the Robin Jones sextet.  The club, The 606 at 90 Lots rd, London sw10.  A cozy space, serving dinner, wine and fine Cuban Jazz.  I was thouroughly impressed and satisfied with every aspect of the band's performance.  As Robin put it, "Cuban music written in English".  If you are a music lover, in London, check it out.
