I travel from Fareham quite often to see a show at the Mayflower. I really enjoy live theatre. I meet a friend and we have lunch in a delightful Italian bistro , close to the civic centre named PAPA MONDO, we have booked two shows .Calender Girls in March and Le Grand Cirque in April, and looking forward to them both , The Mayflower is a lovely theatre and puts on some very good shows

Review of Guildhall, Southampton

ive been to the guildhall on several occasions having seen GC, Dragonforce, Enter Shikari and others there. its a good venue, you can see the stage from pretty much anywhere, its quite a big venue aswell. sound quality is very good, very easy to hear :)  seating is pretty poor but hey ho, i stand. no glowsticks or crowd surfing is allowed though, which kinda sucks.
overall, quite a good local venue [less]

Review of The Hartley Bar, Southampton

Close to the uni, The Hartley Bar's a great place for a cheap pint and some excellent jazz. For a great night out with some of the top jazz artists in the country, you can't do much better!

Live Review of Twin Atlantic @ Joiners Arms - February 10, 2010

An amazing gig, one of the best I have ever seen at the Joiners. The crowd lapped up every song Twin Atlantic played.
Obvious comparisons to Biffy Clyro but this band have their own identity. They seemed to enjoy playing as much as we enjoyed listening to them!
