We have no young kids but 4 best friends from out of town have 4-15year olds - so where do we go to suit us all? Answer is Wicksteed. Went on the mini roller- coaster (my very first ride at 50 as looked safe!). Did a plunge into water, train... [more]

We have no young kids but 4 best friends from out of town have 4-15year olds - so where do we go to suit us all? Answer is Wicksteed. Went on the mini roller- coaster (my very first ride at 50 as looked safe!). Did a plunge into water, train ride, dodgems, fed ducks plus small fairground. Huge space for picnic, ball games. Plus safe playground to tire kids out so all 6 adults could spend evening having dinner etc. Friends so impressed they'd returned on own with kids - from Cambridge and N. London which is only hour away.
They also do evening dinner/dance/ bands here too and Xmas parties for groups - never been in evening anyone comment on those? [less]

Don't expect to find Rockingham Castle in Market Harborough. It's in Corby.
