This venue is quite unique and a real mystery awaits the newcomer as you work out where to find all the nooks and crannies of this venue. The atmosphere is always extremely welcoming and as the venue is intimate, it lends itself to seeing your favourite artist up close and personal. I would say that on the disappointing side, if you don't get near the front of the venue to see the artist then you will likely have a poor view. That said, the sound is heard throughout the warren of little avenues to be found in this venue.
Well worth a visit. [less]

Review of Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh
by Charli from Edinburgh

Smallish venue, if you're expected a loud sound then not the best if you're hoping to leave with eardrums intact. Awesome for getting close-up seeing as its pretty much the closest quarters you can get. Recommended for smaller bands with less of a big crowd.

Review of The Jam House, Edinburgh
by Sumner from Bonnyrigg

The Jam house is a really great venue. A real mix of clientele Young, old, posh frocks and jeans. As soon as the music starts everyone gets up to dance. The prices are reasonable and everyone goes knowing they are gonna have a fun night.
Recommended if visiting Auld Reekie.

This place is set in the heart of Edinburgh, and a great place to take a date. There are plenty of pubs/restaurants around and it is conveniently located beside Waverley train station, a taxi rank and a plethora of bus stops. Across the street is Cockburn Street, famous for its quirky shops which leads to the High Street and up to Edinburgh Castle. [less]
