I visited the Anvil on the 12th November to see A Night at The Opera starring Jonathan Ansell.  I found the directions to the venue very good and parking nearby was a bonus. Fantastic pub with great real ales & good home cooked food by Pam. Parking a bit difficult. Ian always gets in good singer/songwriters.
