Spanky Wilson first came to the attention of funk freaks around 10 years ago when Jelly Jazz, and indeed other funk nights around the country, picked up on her seminal recordings on Mother Records. Two tracks in particular had dancefloors going bonkers, the stomping sister soul belter 'You' and the funkiest version ever of 'Sunshine Of Your Love'.
