The Tiny Dancers from Sheffield make a particularly old-fashioned kind of alt-folk, which in its simplicity is rather warm and sweet. The five-piece use minimal percussion and acoustic instruments, with much of the sound relying on their harmonious vocals. The group formed in 2005 and signed to Parlophone shortly after.
