David Walls of South Shields, better known as Ginger, began his career as a member of The Quireboys, which he left in the early '90s to form The Wildhearts, a melodic rock group that found success with a string of releases throughout the '90s. The Sonic Circus is Ginger's latest band, spurring his career further with a series of tours even in their early days, with reports of 'grown-up, anthemic, bluesy rock' (Kerrang) and 'soaring melodies contagious hooks and outrageous riffs' (The Sun) flooding in.
