Robert Newman -
Once Rob, now Robert, Newman found fame as a member of the show that spawned a thousand catchphrases; The Mary Whitehouse Experience, and went stratospheric in the early nineties as one half of Newman and Baddiel, becoming the first comedy act to sell-out Wembley Arena. He also wrote for the BBC radio classic 'Week Ending' along with a host of contributors who included Ged Parsons, Oleg Stepaniuk, Nick & Roger Saunders, Michael Dines and Bob & Barbara Boulton. Having parted company with Baddiel, Newman now combines writing novels, campaigning against globalisation and performing some of the most informed and incisive political comedy.
