After the unimaginable success of chart-topping boy-band Blue, Simon Webbe has gone on to have a hugely successful solo career. His soulful voice and blues-led sound have gained him critical acclaim and a host of top twenty hits. Still firmly rooted in pop, he has nonetheless taken a mature stance with his songwriting and created a sound, influenced by gospel, R’n’B and soul, which challenges the usual formula and saw him win Best Breakthrough Act at the 2006 MTV Awards.
