Mention the name 'The Others' to any national music paper and you will get a passionate description of the group which will include some or all of the following... 1. They are part of a growing scene in London which has also led to the rise of The Libertines and The Paddingtons. 2. They have their own diehard fanclub called The 853 Kamikaze Stage Diving Division. 3. They have pioneered the trend for 'guerilla gigging' by playing gigs up a tree, on a tube train, and across Abbey Road. None of this would be so important if they didn't have the songs to match the hype. Fans of powerful indie post-punk anthems should check the band out however- they'll be pleased to find out just how much The Others live up to the expectations being thrown at them.
