Despite their association with many glam metal bands in the 1980s, Dogs D'Amour's arrangements and composition saw them rise above their peers, leaning more towards Roots Rock and Blues. Despite a band hiatus since 2002, lead singer Tyla has kept the Dogs alive, working as a soloist writing and releasing new material.
